Maharashtra man who robbed Hyderabad jewelry store, arrested
By Newsmeter Network Published on 1 Aug 2020 2:48 PM GMTHyderabad: The Cyberabad police, on 1 August, arrested a man from Maharashtra who had robbed several jewellery stores and stolen over 10 tolas of gold worth Rs. 4,50,000.
Rahil Nurad Bhombal, who worked in various hotels under the Cyberabad Commissionerate, posed as a customer and went to jewellery stores. There, he would select a gold chain, wear it, then run away.
The police said Rahil had become accustomed to a lavish lifestyle and decided to steal gold to maintain that lifestyle. The special operation team, Balanagar zone, arrested the man and recovered the stolen gold.
