Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer set to charm Telugu fans again

Hyderabad: Award-winning Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan is set to charm his Telugu fans again.

The actor is in talks with director Hanu Raghavapudi of Padi Padi Leche Manasu fame for his next project. Sources said both have discussed various scripts and Dulquer has given a go-ahead for one particular project.

An official announcement is expected to be made very soon. There is no doubt that his fans would be eagerly waiting for the film to go on the floors.

Dulquer's fans in Tollywood have been eagerly waiting to see the actor on the big screen.

Dulquer has created a niche in the Malayalam film industry with his amazing acting skills. He has risen from the ranks and earned nationwide fame. The actor has won many Filmfare awards. Ustad Hotel, Bangalore Days, Solo, Charlie are some of his movies that got rave reviews.

Dulquer had branched out to other industries as well, making his Tamil debut with Vaayai Moodi Pesuvom. He has worked with acclaimed director Mani Ratnam in 'OK Kanmani'. He had also spread his wings to Bollywood, making his debut alongside Irrfan Khan in Karwaan. Later he worked with Sonam Kapoor in Zoya Factor.

He made his Telugu debut in the award-winning film 'Mahanati' which was the biopic of the late legendary actress Savitri. He had played the role of yesteryear's actor Gemini Ganesan in the film which earned him the Critics Award for Best Actor in south Filmfare Awards. The film won the National Award and established Dulquer as a versatile actor in the Telugu film industry.

He was seen most recently in the Tamil film, Kannum Kannum Kolaiadithal opposite Ritu Verma. The film was a romantic thriller which was dubbed in Telugu as well.
