Later his samples were collected for testing. After the results came back positive, he was shifted to Gandhi hospital for treatment. His wife and two sons were shifted to quarantine.
Two more persons working with him at the salon were identified and advised to remain under home quarantine. His tenantās family including a five-year-old child were also quarantined at home.
According to officials, the man claimed that he did not open the shop in the past few days.
Salons were initially barred from functioning during the lockdown. However, the government recently announced relaxations provided they follow physical distancing and sanitization procedures. Officials are now in the process of identifying his customers who visited him after he reopened his shop.
