Hyderabad: The special judge for trial of cases under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO), on Monday, sentenced a person to rigorous imprisonment for a period of 10 years and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000, in connection with rape of a minor girl at Khajabagh Huts, Saidabad.

On June 20, 2017, Smt. The victim lived with her elder brother while mother worked as a daily wage laborer. Shiva, who has been sentenced in the case, came to her home frequently and forced the victim to have sexual intercourse with him. He even threatened her not to complain about it to anyone.
