MANSAS Trust : Chandrababu, Sanchaita lock horns on Twitter

Vishakapatnam: An argument broke out between MANSAS Trust Board chairperson Sanchaita Gajapati Raju and TD chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Twitter over the MANSAS Trust Board.

Sanchaita Gajapati Raju countered Naidu for criticism against her and explained that she was heading the MANSAS Trust as she was the eldest surviving legal heir of Pusapati Ananda Gajapati Raju.

Naidu tweeted that MANSAS Trust was set up by Pusapati family members for a unique cause. Over 105 temples and several educational institutes are under the purview of Trust. Considering the principles of the Trust, TD never interfered in its matters.

Countering Naidu’s tweet, Sanchaita Gajapati Raju tweeted that that the “Trust was usurped by a GO issued by you even as my father’s ashes were still smouldering. Continuing the tweet war against Naidu, she said: "MANSAS law campus was given to ILF&S free of cost and the students were shifted to a shed. The ILF&S was later involved in a scam.”

Expressing displeasure over Naidu praising TDP leader and former civil aviation minister Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Sanchaita tweeted that “before you (Naidu) praised of your colleague (Ashok Gajapathi Raju), you have to examine how much he destroyed the legacy of MANSAS Trust.”

“Ashok Gajapathi Raju, during his tenure as the chairman of MANSAS Trust, has taken many decisions that has impacted MANSAS Trust’s finances. An ex parte decree was issued against MANSAS Trust due to which Trust suffered a loss of over Rs 13 crore as Ashok garu didn’t think it fit to appoint a lawyer@ncbn," she tweeted.

She requested Naidu to refrain from bringing politics to what is a Pusapati family affair. She also pointed out that Naidu has guided a person during whose tenure 150-year-old Moti Mahal was bulldozed, Phool Bagh palace was razed to the ground and the historic fort is in shambles. I would work with double commitment for Trust, she concluded.
