Megastar online: Chiranjeevi to make an entry into social media this Ugadi

Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to venture into the world of social media this Ugadi which falls on 25 March. In a video released on Tuesday, he said he will join the social media to keep his fans updated about what he is up to and also to express his feelings on various topics.

In the video, Chiranjeevi said, "From now on, I'm planning to join social media. The reason behind that is to share my feelings with all my fans every now and then. Also, because I think this is a great platform for me to share messages that I want to share and to say what I feel. Hereby, I'm going to enter social media and that too this Ugadi." With Megastar finally deciding to join social media, it will be a treat for his fans as they will get to interact with him on a public platform.

Chiranjeevi and his family were among the Tollywood celebrity families who came out of their house at 5 p.m on 22 March and clapped to show support and appreciation for doctors, medical staff, and all those working to fight Corona virus. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called for the show of support during the nation-wide Janata curfew on Sunday.

The Megastar had recently spoken about the preventive measures one should take to stay safe from the virus. He had explained the dos and don'ts and appealed to people to stay safe and stay home. He had also appealed to the fans to greet each other with a Namaste instead of a handshake.
