Microsoft employee, cop among three killed in car crash at Chevella

Hyderabad: Three persons including a Microsoft employee and a cop were killed, while another suffered injuries when their car crashed into a roadside tree at Chevella on the city outskirts late on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Sara Naresh, 30, Yenkatala Raghavender, 30, and Garela Ravinder, 30. Naveen Goud suffered injuries in the incident.
According to police, the victims hailed from Aloor village of Chevella Mandal in Rangareddy district. While Naresh was working for Microsoft, Raghavendra was a constable in the Armed Reserve unit of Vikarabad district police.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening when they were returning home. Around 6.45 pm, while passing through Mirzaguda village, the driver lost control of the speedy vehicle and rammed into a tree. The car was badly damaged in the incident and the victims received multiple injuries and died on the spot.
Chevella police have registered a case of death due to rash and negligent driving, and started the investigation. The bodies will be handed over to their families after post-mortem on Monday.
