Minister Malla Reddy and wife tested COVID positive

The couple has been placed under isolation following the doctor's advise. In a video message the minister has appealed to all those who have been infected to keep courage and win the battle against Coronavirus.
He is the second minister in the Telangana cabinet to get infected, after Home Minister Mahmood Ali. Speaking to Newsmeter, minister Malla Reddy said, "On last Saturday, I was running temperature. The next morning at around 7 AM I approached the Malla Reddy Hospital at Jeedimetla for a COVID test. The CT scan detected 3 percent infection in my lungs. The doctors asked me to immediately quarantine. I took my first 5 dose of injections on the first day".

The 67 year-old minister is a borderline diabetic patient and is placed under isolation at the Malla Reddy Medical College hostel."My condition is stable, i am hale and hearty and spend my time walking at the hostel lawn. My wife who has joined me is subjected to regular anti-viral drugs. She has no COVID symptoms.
The minister has advised other to immediately act when they suffer from COVID like symptoms."Gaze your body, watch out for symptoms and immediately act, he said.
