Anglo-Indian Association bestows `Pride of Community' award' to new BCCI czar Roger Binny

Hyderabad: All-India Anglo-Indian Association has felicitated Team India coach-designate Roger Binny. Roger Binny, who is currently the President of the Karnataka State Cricket Association, is set to become the President of the BCCI on October 18.
Dr. Lawrence Jenkins, Governing Body Member of the Association for Karnataka, and his wife Maureen presented a citation to Binny.
Earlier this year, the Association bestowed the 'Pride of the Community' honor on Roger Binny in an online meet. The honor was given to him for his outstanding performance in international and domestic cricket and the remarkable contribution he continues to make to the sport in India.
Roger Binny welcomed the couple to his office at the stadium. Dr. Jenkins and his wife were delighted to have spent time conversing with the former all-rounder "It filled us with pride that a member of our tiny community has reached this position and holds it so graciously," they said.
The Association wished him, Mrs. Binny, and his family all the very best.
