Happy Birthday CM: Residents of East Godavari convey wishes in a novel way

East Godavari: A day ahead of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's birthday, his fans from East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh conveyed their wishes in a novel way. Palla Venkanna's plant nursery owners from Kadiam in East Godavari caught everyone's eye with a unique portrait of the Chief Minister.
Palla Sattibabu, Palla Subramanyam, Palla Ganapathi made a portrait out of flowers and plants . The residents were inspired by Telangana state's flagship program haritha haram.
As part of the celebrations, Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar who is sphere heading the plantation drive distributed medical saplings to passengers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on 16th February.
Meanwhile, Green India Challenge has proposed to plant one crore saplings (koti vrukshaarchana) on the eve of KCR's birthday on 17th February, 2021. Minister for Information Technology and Municipal Administration K.T.Rama Rao requested all public representatives to participate in the event and make it successful.
The Green India Challenge has also decided to give 'Vanamali' award to all those who take part in the plantation.
The organisers said the one crore sapling program will begin at 10 a.m on 17 February and last for an hour.
