Nani readies V for Ugadi release;  Actor to be seen in a violent role

Hyderabad: Actor Nani who recently appeared in the movie ‘Gang Leader’ is in a dire need for a hit. The movie ‘Gang Leader’ failed to make a mark with the audience. Nani appears to be quite confident with his upcoming ventures.

The actor has teamed up with his first director Indraganti Mohana Krishna for his upcoming movie. Indraganti Mohana Krishna is one of the unique directors in the Telugu film industry. Nani’s movie ‘Ashta Chamma’ starring actress Swati in the lead role marked his debut as a hero. The movie impressed the audience, and Nani received much fame as a hero.

Now that director Indraganti has teamed up with Nani again, their upcoming project is titled ‘V’. Nani had earlier announced on Twitter, “He introduced me as a Hero in my 1st film. Today he is all set to introduce me again in my 25th film. But this time ... It’s different ;) Your friendly neighbourhood…BADASS joins the party.”

After the official announcement, the movie’s title poster was unveiled a while ago. V’s release date slated for Ugadi, March 25, 2020. Nani, who shared the title poster with the release date stated that he would be appearing in varied roles that have a bit of violence in them.

The poster of ‘V’ features a man holding two guns firing at the target with both his hands. The title font is bloody, and the poster has a tagline with William Shakespeare’s quotation, “At this hour Lie at my mercy all mine enemies.”

The star wrote, “You people asked me for violence in my movies, right? Wait for the movie ‘V’ which is all set for Ugadi release.” Actor Sudheer Babu, actresses Aditi Rao Hydari and Nivetha Thomas will appear in the lead roles alongside Nani in this movie.

It has been reported that Nani is playing a role which has a negative shade. Now that Nani confirmed, this role is to portray Nani in a violent way, which is an off-beat role for him. Well, the movie has begun, and shooting has picked up the pace. More details are awaited.
