Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has died in Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on Sunday
By Newsmeter Network Published on 6 Feb 2022 4:57 AM GMTLata Mangeshkar, who was known as the 'Queen of Melody' and the 'Nightingale of India,' breathed her last at 8:12 am on Sunday. Ms. Mangeshkar, who was 92, was taken to the Intensive Care Unit on January 8 after testing positive for COVID-19.
Ms. Mangeshkar, born in 1929, was the eldest of five siblings, who began her career in music at the age of 13, juggling singing with acting in Marathi films.
