No entry to Tirumala without FASTag from August 15

Tirumala: FASTag will be made mandatory for the vehicles entering Tirumala from August 15, the TTD administration announced on Tuesday.

The move is expected to provide better safety standards, prevention of overcrowding and transparent services for the devotees arriving in vehicles at the Alipiri check point.

Vehicles without FASTag will no longer be allowed to enter Tirumala, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams administration said.

FASTag issuance centre

For the convenience of those without FASTag, a FASTag issuance centre has also been set up at the Alipiri check point in collaboration with ICICI Bank.

It is once again informed that the vehicles without FASTag will be allowed to enter Tirumala only after obtaining the FASTag facility here in the shortest possible time.

Devotees are requested to cooperate with TTD in this regard.
