New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 11, urging him to convene a special session of Parliamentāa unanimous request from the Opposition.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also called for a discussion in Parliament. Echoing the same demand, Kharge said, āThe announcement of the ceasefire was first made by U.S. President Donald Trump. This needs to be discussed, and the people of the country must know what the government has discussed with them.ā
