Reliance-backed Vantara ties up with Telangana govt to establish Wildlife Conservatory & Night Safari

Hyderabad: Reliance Group-backed Vantara has partnered with the Telangana government to establish the Wildlife Conservatory and Night Safari.

Designed as an experiential tourism project, the initiative aims to boost India’s wildlife rehabilitation ecosystem.

The proposed conservatory will integrate scientific wildlife care, research, habitat restoration, and public education through immersive exhibits and guided night-safari experiences.

Vantara’s team presented the conceptual masterplan, sustainability ethos, and proposed ecological impact assessment framework at Bharat Future City. The site selection and habitat design will be undertaken with scientific oversight to ensure minimal ecological disturbance. Telangana state departments will coordinate facilitation, especially through tourism, forests, and environment portfolios.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said Telangana intends to create tourism assets that prioritise conservation over commercialisation. He noted that Vantara’s initiative aligns with the state’s broader vision of developing ecologically sensitive, internationally attractive tourism infrastructure that creates local jobs while safeguarding biodiversity.

The wildlife conservatory is expected to boost tourism, enhance conservation awareness, and position Telangana as a pioneer in responsible, nature-led development. The project has the potential to become India’s premier model of conservation tourism.
