Nepali servant couple loots Rs 3 Cr from realtor's house at Sainikpuri

The latter’s family was away to attend their son’s wedding reception at Falaknuma Palace when the theft took place. Police found that gold jewellery, weighing around 1.73 kg, cash and electronic gadgets, all worth more than Rs 3 crore, were stolen from the house. Kushaiguda police registered a case and special teams have been deputed to nab the couple.
According to the police, realtor A. Narsimha Reddy and his family have been living at Sainikpuri under Kushaiguda police station limits. A Nepali couple has been working as domestic help in their house.

A few days ago, Narsimha Rao’s youngest son got married and the wedding reception was arranged at Falaknuma palace on Sunday evening. The entire family was at Falaknuma when the Nepali couple were at home guarding it.
By the time the family returned home at night, they noticed that everything in the house was scattered and gold jewellery, cash and other valuables were missing. When they searched for the couple, they were also missing. Soon, the family members alerted police. Kushaiguda police, along with Special Operations Team, Clues team and other wings of Rachakonda police, rushed to the spot, secured the premises and began an investigation.
Deputy Commissioner of Police-Malkajgiri Rakshitha K Murthy said, around seven special teams have been formed to look into different aspects of the case and trace the couple. Police are also probing if anybody had helped the couple in the theft.
