Hyderabad, March 9: A newly-wed South Central Railway employee allegedly committed suicide at Neredmet here on Monday.

The 26-year-old Rahul Yadav was found hanging at his residence, the police said. Family issues are suspected to be the reason behind the suicide.

According to police, Rahul Yadav married five months ago. On Monday morning, he was supposed to leave for work, but was not seen around. When his family members searched, they found him hanging in his room from the ceiling. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared brought dead. Police were informed of the incident, after which the body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.

Initial inquiries revealed family issues forced him to take the extreme step. However police could not find any suicide note in his room or at home. Neredmet police registered a suspicious death case and have started investigation.
