NRSC scientist found murdered at his residence in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: 58-year-old Suresh Kumar, working as a scientist with the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), was found murdered at his residence in SR Nagar in Hyderabad. According to the police, Suresh worked with the agency in the photography department.

His death began to take form when his wife, who resides in Chennai, called him several times, and he didn’t respond. Worried, she contacted his colleagues and informed them of the situation. A couple of Suresh’s colleagues arrived at his home and found the house closed from the inside. They knocked on the door and seeing no response, they broke down the door to find him lying in a pool of blood. Police was immediately alerted. Clues team, dog squad and police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.

Investigators found a severe injury on Suresh’s head. Evidence suggests that he was murdered at his home on Monday. Police suspect someone close to the family and has started enquiring at his workplace. An analysis of the call data records is also being done. A murder case was registered, and the probe is underway.
