Higher Education Secretary General JSV Prasad issued the order, which comes as an elevation to YSR Congress senior leader Lakshmi Parvathi.
The veteran leader is currently the YSR Congress Party general secretary and has been active within the party. Earlier this month, she warned Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan against joining hands with her political rival N Chandrababu Naidu.
Lakshmi joined YSRCP during the tenure of the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Following the sudden demise of the latter, she joined YS Jagan Mohan Reddy faction and served senior positions in the party.
