OU releases notification for semester examinations for BA, BCom, BSc, BBA

Hyderabad: Osmania University, on 12 May, released the notification for semester examinations for BA, BCom, BSc, and BBA courses. All eligible students of second, fourth, and sixth semesters enrolled during the academic year 2019-2020 and students of semesters one to six who have backlog can appear for the examinations.

The last date for the payment of examination fee and submission of application forms at their respective colleges is 10 June without late fees and 16 June with a late fee of Rs. 200.

The last date for the colleges for remittance of consolidated examination fee to the registrar, Osmania University exam fee, and submission of EAF online without late fee is 12 June, and 18 June with a late fee of Rs. 200.

The online EAF college logins will be closed by 5 p.m on 18 June. The late fee will be levied automatically in case the fee is not remitted to the account of Osmania University and if forms are not submitted as per the given schedule.

The university had requested all college principals to not forward or submit the EAF of non-eligible candidates to the exam branch. The results of candidates who are not eligible will be cancelled at any stage if they write the examination. The university has also instructed the principals not to direct the candidates to the examination branch in OU for late fees, otherwise disciplinary action will be initiated. The date sheet of the examination will be notified later.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the principals have been instructed not to submit hard copies of EAF application forms to the OU examination branch. According to the university, concerned sections of the examination branch will upload the approvals of the application forms online. The principals have been directed to verify the approval status in their college logins.

The exam fee can be paid online through NEFT and RTGS and the payment can be credited to the 'Registrar Exam Fee Fund Account. The account details are: account number 52198262033, State Bank of India, OU Branch, IFSC code SBIN0020071.

According to the university, college principals will be responsible for any lapse in the transfer of fee amount from banks to the exam account. The candidates and colleges can log into www.osmania.ac.in for further details.
