Pak's bid to infiltrate foiled; Eight militants killed in Kashmir

Srinagar: Army foiled an infiltration bid by Jaish-E-Mohammed. Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists and Pakistan's Border Action Team and killed eight militants in separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir for the past three days.ļæ½
Defense spokesperson in a statement said that the infiltration attempts were made along the LOC in Keran, Tangdhar and Poonch sectors
In Keran sector four militants were neutralized. Militants sneaked into Tangdhar encounter in small groups. The army is continuing the search operation several sectors to weed out the militants.
According to reports by Greater Kashmir, the Section commander of Hizbul-Mujahideen identified as Noor Muhammad was killed in an encounter with the troopers of Rashtriya Rifles in Marmat Doda
Chinar Corps of Indian Army tweeted "We raised a HOTLINE message to Pakistan, that they had resorted to unprovoked Artillery firing & we reserved the RIGHT TO RETALIATE. We did RETALIATE & we WILL RETALIATE again & RETALIATE very hard","
Spokesperson Pakistan Armed Forces. Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted," Indian allegations of cross LOC action by Pakistan and possession of bodies are mere propaganda. Use of cluster bombs by the Indian Army violating international conventions is condemnable,"
