Personal attacks dominate Dubbaka by-poll campaign; BJP leader Arvind calls KTR `frustrated, coward
Hyderabad: Canvassing for Dubbaka by-poll has hit a new low after BJP leader and Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind called Minister KT Rama Rao 'coward and frustrated, who has lost his mind'.

"He has lost his mind. His statements on law and order issues show how frustrated he is about the upcoming loss in Dubbaka by-poll," Arvind said.

Calling KTR a 'coward', he questioned his ability to campaign for by-polls in Dubbaka. "He is a coward. His statement today that BJP will create a law and order situation in the state shows how immature a leader he is. His party's defeat in Dubbaka is clearly visible in his eyes," said Arvind.

He said the election commission had appointed an observer after taking serious note of the TRS party's illegal activities in a run-up to the by-poll. "Your party and your government are nothing but a pigmy. We are in power at the center and you should keep that in mind," he said.

Arvind also visited Yashoda hospital at Secunderabad to enquire about the health a party worker Srinivas, who attempted immolation on Sunday noon.

"Doctors have informed me that Srinivas has suffered more than 70 percent burns. BJP and our president Bandi Sanjay are with Srinivas and his family in this hour of need. We have requested doctors to provide the best treatment to him. We would also urge our cadres to be patient till we bring down this family rule in Telangana," he said.

Arvind assured the party workers that they would fight with full might in a democratic way. "We will fight with all our might in a peaceful and democratic way, till we pull down this undemocratic family rule. We will not resort to any cheap tricks or risk the lives or future of our cadres for winning a place like Dubbaka," he said.
