PM Modi, HM, Defence Minister, CM KCR express shock over boat tragedy

Taking it to Twitter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed shock over the capsizing of a boat in Andhra Pradesh's East Godavari. He said his thoughts are with the bereaved families.
The loss of lives due to capsizing of a boat in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh is very unfortunate. I am deeply pained.
My thoughts are with families of those who have lost their loved ones. May god give the bereaved families strength to withstand this tragic loss.Extremely pained by the capsizing of a boat in Andhra Pradesh's East Godavari. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. Rescue operations are currently underway at the site of the tragedy.

Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted on Sunday, The loss of lives due to capsizing of a boat in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh is very unfortunate. I am deeply pained. My thoughts are with families of those who have lost their loved ones. May God give the bereaved families strength to withstand this tragic loss.
After learning about the incident, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh condoled the death of people due to capsizing of a boat in East Godavari.

While expressing grief over the incident, Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "I'm sorry to hear about the boat accident in the Godavari river, in #AndhraPradesh . My deepest condolences to the families of those who have perished in this tragedy. I pray that all those reported missing will soon be accounted for and that they are safe".

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, "Saddened at the loss of lives in the Godavari boat tragedy in Andhra Pradesh. My condolences to the families of the deceased. My prayers that the missing passengers are rescued".
Sunil Deodhar, BJP National Secretary for Andhra Pradesh, tweeted, "Extremely saddened at the loss of lives in the Godavari private boat tragedy in East Godawari, Andhra Pradesh. My condolences to the families of the deceased.
Urge state govt to rescue the missing persons fast and take stringent
action against culprits".
TDP Leader Jay Galla tweeted, "Deeply saddened to hear about the loss of lives due to the capsizing of a tourist boat near #Devipatnam in East Godavari. My heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in this tragic incident".
Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has announced an ex gratia amount of Rs five Lakh each to the members of the bereaved families. The CM has asked Transport Minister Ajay to participate in the relief measures.
CM KCR also expressed shock over the boat tragedy that occurred near Papikondalu in East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh State. The CM has conveyed his sincere sympathies to the members of the bereaved families. CM KCR has instructed officials concerned to take the necessary action as there were people from Telangana among those dead.
