The association released a press note on Friday, jointly signed by the President of the association J Sreenivasa Rao, and other office-bearers. It expressed their anguish over the former CM’s remarks and mentioned that they work hard to protect law and order in society.
The association declared that Naidu’s comments wounded their feelings. “It was unfortunate that a person who worked as the CM for a long period made such remarks,” said the statement. The association leaders announced that the postings and transfers are very common in government jobs. They declared that the department doesn’t work for a party or a group, but in service of the law.
It must be mentioned here that the TDP President met Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan on Thursday and submitted a report against the government. Chandrababu narrated that the police department is working in favour of the ruling party and is troubling opposition leaders and cadre.
