Political 'Dangal' for wrestler Babita: Joins BJP along with dad

Hailing from the Dadri district, the father-daughter duo has been vocal regarding the sports policy and programmes till now. They have also heaped praises for PM Narendra Modi and Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar.
Babita kumara Phogat is one of the two Phogat sisters who inspired the film Dangal. The discipline of their father Mahavir Phogat and the dedication of the Phogat sisters have brought them a long way. They are the first female wrestlers from the country and have inspired a lot of women to take up wrestling seriously.
The Director of Dangal, Nitesh Tiwari made a film on the life of Dronacharya Awardee Mahavir Phogat and his daughters, Geeta & Babita Phogat who won a lot of laurels for the country in the field of Wrestling.
