Jana Sena chief slams Jagan over regional capitals in AP
By Newsmeter Network Published on 18 Dec 2019 5:01 AM GMTHyderabad: The Opposition has slammed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for his proposal on three regional capitals for the state.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said the CM had not given any thought about how people from Srikakulum would go to Kurnool for the High Court. "How will it be possible for the common public of Rayalaseema districts to go to Visakhapatnam if the executive capital is set up there?" he asked.
Pawan Kalyan has asked the CM whether he is ready to seek apologies from the people, as he had agreed for Amaravati as the state capital in a YSRCP plenary. "The Government of India has recognised Amaravati as the capital and has shown the same in the map. If the GoI has to notify the capital, which one of the three will be the Center's choice?"
The Jana Sena chief also wondered how the CM will announce the three capitals even before an expert committee tables its report.
