100 days of PM Modi govt: No solution or vision for country’s problems, says Congress
The poster campaign highlighted points on Parliament bills, train accidents, Chinese incursions, increasing inflation
By Kaniza Garari Published on 16 Sep 2024 12:41 PM GMTNew Delhi: Indian National Congress, on the completion of 100 days of prime minister Narendra Modi-led Union government, released a poster campaign highlighting the plight of farmers, youth, women, infrastructure, railways, Chinese incursions and the law and order situation in Manipur.
Supriya Shrinate, chairperson of social media and digital platforms of All India Congress Committee said, “These 100 days have proven that PM Modi has neither a solution nor a vision for the country’s problems. His habit of turning a blind eye to issues and running away from challenges continues to persist.”
‘Instability, indecision and immaturity’
Highlighting that the 100 days of government were filled with instability, indecision and immaturity, Shrinate said, “There have been multiple attempts to inflate a punctured balloon, but the thorn pricked by the public in the Lok Sabha elections has not given Narendra Modi any chance to rise again. Modi has proven to be a weak prime minister, setting new records for U-turns.”
The poster campaign highlighted points on Parliament bills, train accidents, Chinese incursions, increasing inflation, Adani-SEBI alleged conflict of interest and Manipur violence. These were the points highlighted under each issue by the Congress party leaders in their public statement.

From the Kanchanjunga train accident to frequent derailments, hardly a day passes without some train going off track. Meanwhile, the railway minister is busy making reels, dismissing these accidents as minor incidents, Congress said in its statement.
‘Crumbling infrastructure, Corruption exposed’
- 56 major infrastructure projects, including airports, bridges, roads and statues, inaugurated recently, have collapsed.
- The Jabalpur airport, Delhi and Rajkot airports couldn’t withstand a single rain.
- Shivaji’s statue broke within 8 months.
- The leaking roof of the new Parliament building, with water falling into buckets below, is evidence of failure.
- Water is leaking inside the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Mandir.
- The Rs 18,000 crore Atal Setu has developed cracks.
- The Sudarshan Setu in Gujarat, inaugurated in February 2024, now has cracks and potholes.

- In the past 100 days, Adani and SEBI chief Madhabi Buch have been raised by Congress continuously. The allegations of corruption, conflict of interest and misuse of power have been constantly made.
While Adani Group of companies and SEBI have issued a clarification, the allegations against them by the Congress party continue.
‘Silence on Chinese incursions in Ladakh’
-Ladakh’s herders have repeatedly warned about China’s incursions but there has not been any action from the government.
- Thousands are marching from Ladakh to New Delhi to press on the point of incursions by China.
Manipur violence
- Manipur has been burning for 16 months, and violence has flared up again.
- Drones, rockets, and RPGs are being used in the violence.
- 12 people have died in the last two weeks.
- Security forces have also been attacked.
Highlighting these points, the Opposition demanded the government to act swiftly and take action.
