Amaravati: After Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan strongly criticised the YSRCP government, Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy reacted to his remarks.
During a meeting at Avanigadda town in Krishna district, Jagan said, "The so-called leaders are hurling abuses as they cannot speak about what good they have done to serve the state of Andhra Pradesh. What are they retorting to? They have hit a new low by hurling abuses."
He said it is sad to see a few political leaders who show chappals in front of the public and use filthy words being called leaders.
Addressing the public, Jagan said, "We are witnessing how the adopted son (referring to Pawan Kalyan) speaks the lines of his adopted father (referring to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu)."
Jagan highlighted Pawan Kalyan's three marriages and said, "We have never done injustice to the people of this state. While we are manifesting the three capitals for the betterment of the state, on the other hand, a man is preaching on three marriages and asking people to follow his lead on divorces."
He asked, "What kind of an example is that man setting for the daughters, sisters, and women of our state? Is this how you set an example of a leader? Is this how you show the way for a better state?"
