AP 2024 Polls: Jagan to begin 21-day bus yatra from March 27

Amaravati: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will kick start his election campaign through a bus yatra with a slogan ‘Memu Antha Siddham' as part of the election campaign for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

A complete schedule of the bus yatra would be released by the party leadership on Tuesday.

MLC Talasila Raghuram said that the party has decided to conduct meetings in all the regions, and names have also been prepared for the meetings.

"Now district-wise (parliamentary constituencies) bus yatra will be scheduled. Further, YS Jagan is set to hit the ground during the bus yatra. The bus yatra will start in another week, probably from March 27, between Ichchapuram and Idupulapaya and it will last for 21 days'', the MLC said.

Raghuram also said that the party leadership also said that the bus yatra will be held in all districts except the four districts– Visakhapatnam, Eluru, Anantapur and Palnadu where ‘Siddham’ preparatory meetings have already happened.

There will be an interaction session in the morning and a public meeting in the afternoon. As part of the interaction, suggestions would be received from the people and intellectuals to further improve the performance of the government, he added.
