Attack on Bandi Sanjay's padayatra is the beginning of TRS's collapse: Dasoju Sravan

Hyderabad: Days after resigning from the Congress and joining BJP, Dasoju Sravan strongly condemned the brutal attack on BJP Telangana president Bandi Sanjay's padayatra. On Monday, he demanded that an attempt to murder case be filed against Telangana minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao for the attack.

The attack on the padayatra is a glaring reflection of the TRS party's arrogance, brutality, and predatory mindset, he said and added that it is an act of intolerance and violence towards the growing popularity and acceptance of Bandi Sanjay's padayatra in Telangana. Dasoju Sravan alleged that minister Errabelly Dayakar Rao had brazenly threatened to obstruct the padayatra and had subsequently conspired to launch the attack. He is responsible and he must be punished, the BJP leader said.

He further alleged that faced with the threat of defeat in the future and out of timidity, the TRS leadership under Chief Minister KCR had lost their mental balance and were resorting to undemocratic suppression and violence. He said that this brazen attack on Bandi Sanjay's padayatra is the beginning of TRS's collapse.

Dasoju also slammed the police for colluding with TRS leaders and allowing the brutal attack. TRS does not want Bandi Sanjay to expose the public problems in his padayatra and hence is resorting to such tactics of physical attacks, he added. He demanded the DGP Telangana file cases against Errabelli and others involved in the attack and provide full protection to Bandi Sanjay throughout his padayatra.
