BJYM leader Sai Prasad sends SOS to CEC, alleges MLA Mynampally of fostering rowdy sheet
Sai Prasad alleged that the MLA and his associates have been involved in land grabbing across Malkajgiri constituency, and Ranga Reddy district.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 29 July 2023 4:57 AM GMTHyderabad: National Treasurer of BJYM PM Sai Prasad has written to the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEC) accusing BRS Malkajgiri MLA Mynampally Hanumantha Rao of terrorizing people by filing false police cases.
"M Hanumanth Rao, the aforesaid MLA has been terrorizing his constituents by filing fake cases with the active assistance of Police Officials. The MLA is registering cases under SC/ST Atrocities Act, Sec 66a & b of IT Act (sections scrapped by Supreme court), and other fake cases against me," Sai Prasad said in a letter to CEC
Sai Prasad alleged that the MLA and his associates have been involved in land grabbing across Malkajgiri constituency, and Ranga Reddy district.
āMLA had faked his educational qualifications in different affidavits during the filing of his nomination in 2008, 2009, 2014, 2017, and then in 2018. In his affidavit (in 2008, 2009, and 2014) he mentioned his educational qualification as BBA from Alabama University, and later (in 2017 and 2018) he said he was Intermediate," he said.
"As a responsible citizen, I challenged this legally in the court of law. Also, I have exposed his illegal encroachments of Parklands and Lakes. He grabbed the lands of innocent citizens and physically assaulted them. He filed fake cases against those questioning his irregularities."
He alleged that Hanumantha Rao is a former Rowdy Sheeter who was expelled from Hyderabad for being involved in murder and many other notorious activities.
Sai Prasad noted that he has been targeted because of his philanthropic activities. "The MLA has been targeting me since I have been actively involved in philanthropic activities like distribution of Tablets to the underprivileged, scholarships to the girl child, mega sports utsav, empowering women, supporting development of many temples, providing assistance for the poor and welfare of Army Veterans," he said.
Sai Prasad alleged that SI Parsuram, ACP Venkat Reddy, and ACP Naresh Reddy, have been working at the behest of Mynampally Hanumantha Rao rather than upholding the law. He said they had told him to stop his philanthropic and political activities and threatened to book him under the Preventive Detention Act.
Sai Prasad appealed to the Chief Electoral Officer to take immediate action and ensure a fair and transparent investigation. He expressed concern that such actions could hinder the democratic process and freedom of political activists.
