Vijayawada: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to inaugurate Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) office in New Delhi on Wednesday.
He is also chalking out plans to open the BRS office in Andhra Pradesh. Sources said that the BRS is opening an office at Jakkampudi Inner Ring Road in Vijayawada.
Other political parties have head offices in Vijayawada and Guntur districts. These include Congress, TDP, Jana Sena, BJP, CPI, CPM, and YSRCP.
A few days ago, many BRS flexes had come up in several areas of Vijayawada and Mylavaram. "A new era in the country's politics began with the launch of the Bharata Rashtra Samithi," read the inscriptions on the flexes. Questions have been raised on social media if the BRS plans to test political waters in Andhra Pradesh. However, the hoardings were later removed from those locations.
KCR will leave for Delhi on Monday and conduct Rajasyamala Yagam for two days. BRS will function from a temporary office until a permanent building at Vasant Vihar is completed.
Post-inauguration of the party, Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav will visit Vijayawada on December 18 to finalize the location for the construction of the party office. KCR will likely lay the foundation stone for the party office in Vijayawada.
