BRS releases booklet, CD on ‘100 Lies of BJP’

Hyderabad: The social media wing of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) released a booklet and CD titled ‘100 Lies of BJP’ on Monday. The booklet claims to 'expose' the BJP and the unfulfilled promises it made to the people of Telangana and the country at large.

The booklet covers a wide range of issues, including unemployment, inflation, the burden of GST, lack of access to the internet and housing, and the non-implementation of promises made in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. It also claims to expose the lies of the state and national BJP leaders.

BRS social media conveners — Manne Krishank, Y Satish Reddy, Jagan Mohan Rao and Dinesh Chaudhary — have organised the program. The social media team ran a campaign under the #100AbadhaalaBJP for the last four months.

The booklet was released by BRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao at Pragathi Bhavan. He called it a ‘good campaign’ and appreciated the efforts of the social media convenors.

“The real form of BJP, which is doing politics on the basis of lies, has been put in front of the people,” KTR said. He added, “Take the BJP’s mistakes and failures to the public and let the people in the rural areas know the facts through booklets and CDs.”

Speaking to News Meter, Krishnak Manne, BRS social media convener and Chairman of Telangana State Mineral Development Corporation Limited said, "People in our State and country believed the continous lies which BJP has displayed in Parliament and whenever they have visited Telangana. But in the last nine years, their promises have turned into lies. This motivated the creation of '100 Lies of BJP' booklet."
