CM KCR meets former Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy at Pragathi Bhavan
The meeting is significant in the wake of KCR’s efforts to bring together like-minded parties ahead of 2024 elections.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 11 Sep 2022 12:19 PM GMTHyderabad: Former Karnataka chief minister H D Kumaraswamy Janata Dal (Secular) met Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao and municipal administration, urban development and industries minister K T Rama Rao on Sunday in Hyderabad at Pragathi Bhavan.
A lunch was organized by CM KCR for the former chief minister of Karnataka H D Kumaraswamy. Both of them discussed the role of regional parties in national politics. The meeting is significant in the wake of KCR's efforts to bring together like-minded parties ahead of 2024 elections.
During the meeting, we discussed issues related to Karnataka & Telangana States besides key national issues.

Kumaraswamy on his handle on twitter says, " I met KTR, a bright visionary, innovative ideas, strong leadership personality and the discussion with him was very meaningful. The issues of Karnataka-Telangana are important. My heart is filled with admiration, trust and respect of KTR."
The meeting with the Janta Dal leader along with TRS assumes significance as there is an attempt made to get all the opposition leaders on one platform against the Bharatiya Janta Party.
KCR met Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and deputy chief minister Tejaswi Yadav in Patna on August 31st.
