KCR call for bandh on February end is being termed as a secondary issue by Congress who say their primary focus is to get their due share in central budget. The allocation for Telangana in the central budget is a cause of concern as the state has not got it's due share. Despite representation to various ministries by the chief minister Revanth Reddy and his cabinet ministers there has not been adequate allocation for projects.
In a closed door meeting with the ministers and senior Congressmen the discussion was carried out.
TPCC to protest
Telangana Pradesh Congress committee president Mahesh Goud to protest at Tank bund, Necklace Road on Sunday evening. The Congress leaders and party workers in the state to protest against the central government for not allocating due share to Telangana state in the union budget 2025.
Caste census report
Special Assembly session on February 5th to discuss the caste census report. The report will be tabled in the Assembly session for debate and approval.

The government had issued orders on October 19, 2024 appointing a cabinet sub-committee on caste discrimination in the state.
The government has ordered a house-to-house survey of the people's social, economic, educational, employment, political, and caste profiles.
The Planning Department has completed the survey and the report is submitted to the cabinet sub committee.

The state Planning Department Principal Secretary Sandeep Sultaniya and officials will present the report to the state cabinet sub-committee at 2 pm on Sunday.
The meeting to be attended by Chairman Uttam Kumar Reddy, Co-Chairman Damodar Raja Narasimha, members Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, Seethakka and MP Mallu Ravi.
