Congress war room raid: Mallu Ravi moves HC, seeks info about 'Telangana Galam'
An FIR is registered at Market Police Station, Secunderabad against the organizers of the Facebook page without disclosing any offence, the petitioner said

Senior Vice President of the Congress Mallu Ravi has filed a writ petition seeking a direction to the Police to divulge all pending FIRs and complaints registered against the organizers and admins of the Facebook page `Telangana Galam’. He has prayed for restraining the police from registering further cases against the organizers of the page.
Organizers of `Telangana Galam’ are resorting to posting memes and political satire on the BRS government in a bid to project it in in bad light. An FIR is registered at Market Police Station, Secunderabad against the organizers of the Facebook page without disclosing any offence, the petitioner said.
Mallu Ravi is instrumental in creating a `Congress War Room’ in Madhapur wherein preparatory and other work related to the ensuing general elections were done. Cyber Crime Police, CCS Hyderabad raided the Congress war room, seized the entire material, and booked cases against the computer engineers working in the war room.
On a complaint from BRS, an FIR was registered at Cyber Crime Police Station, CCS Hyderabad for the alleged posting of inappropriate, derogatory, and insulting videos against the BRS party to cut down its vote bank and project the Congress party as a better platform. The petitioner contends that the police have registered cases against the organizers of `Telangana Galam’ with ulterior motives. He said the complaints are filed by bogus individuals at the behest of the BRS party.
He has sought direction to the police to furnish information on the number of cases that are registered. He has sought a stay on the FIRs and further investigation. The Writ Petition will come up for hearing before a Single Judge on Tuesday, 21-02-2023.
