Guntur: You should become CM at least five times, said Nageswaramma, an ardent admirer of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. She fondly referred to Pawan Kalyan as her ‘fourth son.’

On Wednesday, the Deputy CM visited Nageswaramma’s residence in Ippatam village of Tadepalli mandal in Guntur district, fulfilling a request

She had earlier made a request to him, asking him to return and meet her after achieving electoral success. The visit turned emotional, with the elderly woman showering blessings and expressing pride in his political journey.

The interaction has drawn attention on social media and among supporters, highlighting the strong emotional connect Pawan Kalyan enjoys with sections of the public. The moment has also sparked discussions among political observers and followers over whether Pawan Kalyan could one day become the Chief Minister.

Pawan promises financial and educational aid

During his visit, Pawan Kalyan provided Rs 50,000 as immediate financial assistance to Nageswaramma and Rs 1 lakh towards the education of her grandson.

Pawan Kalyan visited Ippatam village in the aftermath of an incident during the previous YS Jaganmohan Reddy–led YSRCP government, when houses belonging to Jana Sena Party activists in the Tadepalli–Ippatam area were demolished.

Although the demolitions were officially attributed to a road expansion project, critics alleged that the action specifically targeted families who had donated land for the party’s Aavirbhava Sabha. In the wake of the incident, Kalyan met the affected families and assured them of his support.
