Furious over TDP's attacks, Jagan asks ministers to launch counter-offensive
Ministers were asked to debunk the allegations leveled against the family members

"Every minister should launch a counter-attack to any allegation and criticism made by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). They should react strongly to the yellow media", said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
After the cabinet meeting, CM had a private meeting with the cabinet ministers. He expressed displeasure on why ministers are keeping calm even after the opposition is spreading false news against the government.
According to the information, Ministers were asked to explain the facts to the people. Jagan opined that the people of Andhra Pradesh are always positive toward the government, which is shown by the victory of YSRCP in the elections. Unable to digest the fact, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, along with yellow media channels are repeatedly publishing false news about the government.
Allegations against family members
After TDP accused Jagan's wife YS Bharthi and senior leader and MP V. Vijaya Sai Reddy of having a role in the 'Delhi Liquor Scam, Jagan said the yellow media are spreading false news. Ministers were asked to debunk the allegations leveled against the family members. He expressed anger at the opposition for making allegations against their family members.
It may be recalled that the TDP party leader Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy alleged that Rs 5,000 crore illegally earned by Adan Distilleries was used in the Delhi Liquor scam. He alleged that Panaka Sarath Reddy, who maintains financial relations with Vijayasai Reddy, is now under investigation by the CBI in the Delhi liquor scam. He also alleged that Jagan went to Davos only for these transactions.
