These were the arrangements made during the Sankranthi festival. It is probably for the first time that a casino has been set up for gamblers during festival time. With an entry ticket of Rs 10,000, the convention center had everything from sparkling lights to entertainment and dance shows. The video also shows cheer girls entertaining the guests. Sources said bouncers from Hyderabad were brought to the casino to ensure none of them could carry mobile phones inside.
Sharing the video on Twitter, Pattabhi tagged Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani alleging that it is the Minister's gang running crores of business in the name of a casino in the state. The video was also circulated by Telugu Desam activists. People also circulated video clippings of a casino.
Pattabhi has also tagged Andhra Pradesh DGP and Twitter handles of the police officials asking them to take immediate action. He has also started hashtag #SaveAPFromYSRCP.
Sources say that the convention center belongs to Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani.
