ISB@20: PM to attend function; will KCR join?

If the trio makes it to ISB's 20th anniversary, this will be the first 'encounter' between Chief Minister KCR with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Governor Tamilisai, after a political fallout.PMO has accepted the invitation and confirmed the visit. It is to recall Chief Minister skipped the inauguration of the Statue of Equality in the city. Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated the Statue. Chief Minister, who was in a 'blow hot blow cold mood', cited bad health to stay away from the event depriving the public of some optics.
Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan in a recent interview with a news channel spilled the beans about how KCR has maintained a distance from Raj Bhavan.
Interestingly, KCR has plunged into national politics and embarked on a country-wide yatra. KCR who is currently in Delhi is scheduled to meet leaders of various political parties, economists, and media personalities. According to the itinerary. KCR will travel to Chandigarh on May 22. He will visit the families of 600 farmers who lost their lives in the agitation. He will hand over Rs 3 lakh to each bereaved family.
KCR along with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Man Singh will hand over the cheques to families of deceased farmers from Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi. On May 26, he will visit Bangalore. He will visit former Prime Minister Dev Gowda and meet former Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy.
On May 27, he will travel to Ralegaon Siddi to meet prominent social activist Anna Hazare. KCR will also visit Shirdi Sai Baba. Later he will return to Hyderabad.
On May 29 and 30, KCR is scheduled to visit Bengal and Bihar. The CM will visit the families of Indian soldiers, who were martyred in the Galwan Valley. As previously announced by the Telangana government, CM will support their families.
It is still unclear if KCR will try to squeeze a day out to be with the PM in Hyderabad amid his national tour schedule.
According to the schedule, Prime Minister will touch down at Begumpet domestic airport on May 26 and travel by road or by helicopter to the ISB campus. On May 20, Telangana's Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar reviewed the arrangement for PM's visit.
