Jagan alleges Rahul has ‘hotline’ to Naidu via Telangana CM Revanth
Amaravati: YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday alleged that Congress Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu are in direct contact through Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy on a hotline.
Addressing the media, Jagan made it clear that he would not tie up with Rahul Gandhi and accused the Congress leader of maintaining silence on Andhra Pradesh’s ‘Vote Chori.’
‘Rahul silent on vote theft in Andhra’
He questioned why Congress Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi, who had recently spoken about ‘Vote Chori’ in other States, has remained silent on electoral irregularities in Andhra Pradesh, alleging that this indicated a tacit deal between Naidu and Revanth Reddy.
“AP Congress in-charge Manikam Thakur, who targets the opposition YSRCP, criticises only me all the time but has never made any comments on Chandrababu Naidu or spoken about Andhra Pradesh. He always turns a blind eye to the corruption of the coalition government, whether it is the mushrooming of belt shops, the opening of permit rooms or the sale of liquor at more than the MRP. This is because Chandrababu Naidu is in touch with Rahul Gandhi through a hotline,” Jagan alleged.

On Bihar SIR
Speaking about Rahul Gandhi raising the issue of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar, Jagan said that the Congress MP had failed to support YSRCP when they raised a similar issue after the 2024 elections, where he claimed there was a 12 per cent variation between votes polled and votes counted.

‘Jagan has no right to criticise’
Reacting to Jagan’s remarks, Manikam Thakur posted a video in which he said Jagan had no right to criticise Rahul Gandhi.
“Rahul is fighting to protect democracy and leading a major battle against vote theft, unlike Jagan, who has surrendered. If Jagan is truly sincere about stopping vote theft, he should support the Congress rally in Vijayawada,” Manikam said.
Lokesh Reacts
Reacting to Jagan's statements, Minister Lokesh in a post on X wrote : Our only true ‘hotline’ is with the people of Andhra Pradesh. Forget your ‘vote chori’ excuses — you were voted out because people were tired of your ‘note chori’ in scam after scam. You know exactly what I’m talking about. Your baseless attempts to mislead will fail. Our double-engine sarkar is here to deliver, and under the leadership of Narendra Modi and NCB, Andhra Pradesh will rise to No.1 again!
