Hyderabad: BJP president J P Nadda will hold a public meeting at Mahabubnagar on Thursday. Nadda's public meeting is a part of the `Praja Sangrama Yatra' launched by BJP state unit president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
BJP Telangana unit Vice President NVSS Prabhakar said Nadda will address a public meeting in connection with the second phase of `Praja Sangrama Yatra', which will reach Mahabubnagar on May 5.
Prabhakar said Praja Sagrama Yatra, which started at Jogulamba Ammavari Temple in Warangal on April 14 will reach Mahabubnagar on May 5. On this occasion, Nadda will be the chief guest. He will address the public meeting at MVS Arts College, Mahabubnagar at 5 pm on Thursday
BJP is organizing the 'Janam Gosa- BJP Bharosa' (people's suffering – BJP's reassurance) rally to pressure Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government to implement its election promises and rebuild the state, BJP general secretary G Premender Reddy said.
Sanjay Kumar began the second phase of his 'padayatra' on April 14 after offering prayers at the temple of Goddess Jogulamba at Alampur in Gadwal district.
BJP alleged that TRS has not fulfilled its promise of jobs, irrigation, debt relief for farmers, and double bedroom houses for the poor since the state's formation eight years ago.
BJP hopes to gain momentum with Nadda's rally.
The second phase of Kumar's 'padayatra' is likely to conclude on May 14. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to attend a public meeting.
Sanjay Kumar held the first phase of his 'padayatra' last year.
