Naidu resorting to theatrics, trying to politicize issues: Jagan

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday accused TDP chief and former CM N. Chandrababu Naidu of resorting to theatrics and said the Opposition was trying to politicize issues.
"It is very unfortunate that the Opposition leader resorts to theatrics instead of giving us constructive suggestions. His agenda seems to be politicizing every issue and the way he talked and conducted himself appears to be a drama. He was speaking incoherently and out of context because he was frustrated after the continuous rejections from the people," Jagan told the Assembly.

Mr. Naidu alleged that his wife was dragged into dirty politics by the YSRCP leaders. The ruling party leaders are resorting to character assassination and immoral politics, he said and announced that he had decided not to attend Assembly sessions henceforth and would do so only after becoming the Chief Minister of the state.
Jagan said that when the discussion on agriculture was going on, he was at a conference with collectors and monitoring the situation due to heavy rains in southern districts of the state. "Deviating from the subject, Chandrababu Naidu spoke about irrelevant issues and there must have been a retort from our side. But the words Naidu said while walking out did not come from our side," he added.
Further, he said that on verifying records, it was Mr. Naidu who spoke about his uncle, mother, and sister. It all came from their side as per the Assembly records, he said, adding, "When he speaks that way, there would be a retort and Chandrababu Naidu overreacted and walked out in frustration. He didn't know what he was talking."
He added, "It is our family matter and he is trying to bring in family names out of context. He was the person who spent huge money to defeat my uncle and manipulate the results. He must have a grudge against my uncle and after he was killed, he has been taking names from our family which saddens me."
