Nandigama: Tension after stones were hurled at Chandrababus road show; CSO injured

Nandigama: Unknown miscreants hurled stones at the convoy of former chief minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu during his road show at Gandhi Centre in Nandigam of Krishna district.

In the incident, Naidu's Chief Security Officer (CSO) Madhu was injured.

Naidu alleged that the YSRCP workers acted like thieves and threw stones at his convoy. "YSRCP wants to rule the state by foisting false cases and by attacking the TDP leaders but the TDP is not a party that is scared of such empty threats, he remarked," he said.

He called upon the people to defeat the YSRCP in the coming elections as all the sections in Andhra Pradesh are facing deep trouble. Naidu said if the people want a peaceful atmosphere in the state, then they should vote TDP to power. Naidu predicted that Jagan will soon enact a 'Kodi Katti' drama and asked the people to be alert.

Vijayawada Police Commissioner Kanti Rana Tata said that the incident took place at 6:30 pm. One stone was thrown by unknown miscreants. The details are being verified.
