Owaisi thanks Jubilee Hills, Bihar voters; says CM Revanth will boost infrastructure, services

Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi expressed gratitude to voters in Jubilee Hills and Bihar.
Owaisi said, “Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy personally called to offer thanks, and I have in turn offered my congratulations to them.”
Owaisi said that CM Revanth Reddy would leverage this success to improve infrastructure, civic amenities, sewage lines, water supply and housing for the people of Telangana and Jubilee Hills.
Taking a dig at BRS
Owaisi took a jibe at Bharat Rashtra Samithi and the Bharatiya Janata Party, stating that despite personally targeting him and the AIMIM, the BJP’s deposit was forfeited.
He said, “Both parties have been defeated in every ward of Jubilee Hills constituency.”
Urging Muslim voters
Owaisi appealed to the Muslim community not to remain mere ‘voters’ but to become ‘citizens’ and leaders, emphasising that they are not ‘captive labourers’ for any single political party.
AIMIM secures five seats in Seemanchal in Bihar
Owaisi confirmed that AIMIM has secured five seats in the Seemanchal region of Bihar and thanked the public for the same.
The victorious candidates are:
- Ghulam Sarwar from Amur
- Sarwar Alam from Baisi
- Tousif Alam from Kochadhaman
- Murshid Alam from Jokihat
The counting process in Balrampur, where the candidate Adil Hasan is trailing by 700 votes. Owaisi mentioned a request to count votes via VVPAT due to four faulty EVMs.
RJD blamed
Owaisi stated the Bihar result is a public mandate and reiterated his prior assertion that the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan was unable to stop the BJP in the election.
Congratulates CM Nitish Kumar
Owaisi extended his congratulations to incumbent CM Nitish Kumar and affirmed his party’s commitment to Vikas in Bihar and Seemanchal. This development focus must be on improving schools, hospitals, bridges, industries and reducing child mortality.
