Amaravati: NDA presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and sought the support of YSRCP members. She was accompanied by Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy.
Chief Minister emphasized the need to strengthen Draupadi Murmu's candidature, who is an Adivasi and a woman. He assured her of the support of all his party's 151 MLAs, and 31 MPs. He said his party believes in social justice and stands with SC, ST, BC, and Minorities.
CM announced that mock polling will be held on 18 July to ensure that no vote turns invalid. He directed all the legislators and parliamentarians to cast their votes without fail.
Draupadi Murmu paid homage to great fighters and leaders of the state. She said she was fortunate to run for the highest post in the 75th year of independence `Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav'.
