Priyanka Gandhi: Telangana youth demoralised from lack of jobs, TSPSC exam papers leak
Alleging a tacit understanding between the BJP and BRS, she said that both are solely focused on seizing power by leveraging religious sentiments and exploiting the state’s resources.

She is on a campaign tour of poll-bound Telangana for the ensuing State Assembly elections.
Highlighting the problems being faced by the state, Priyanka said, “The lack of employment opportunities in the state, coupled with the issue of leaked Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) exam papers has demoralised the youth of Telangana.”
“Corruption has seeped into every corner of this government, from large projects to small businesses, with commissions being siphoned off, amounting to thousands of crores of public money,” she added.
Targetting chief minister K Chandrashekar and claiming that the BRS government has only benefitted KCR’s family, she said, “Telangana people are renowned for the way they put their blood and sweat into the statehood movement. Now, people see only one family reaping all the rewards.”
“KCR and his family hold all the portfolios, with a luxurious mahal and ministries, while the people are left wanting. Telangana is perhaps the only state where the government operates from a farmhouse. Now, the people must decide the type of government they want—one plagued by corruption or one that genuinely works for the people,” she said addressing the gathering.
“I look forward to the day when I can return to Telangana after Congress forms the government and proudly say we have realised all our aspirations,” she said.
Alleging a tacit understanding between the BJP and BRS, she said that both are solely focused on seizing power by leveraging religious sentiments and exploiting the state’s resources.
“The BJP and BRS are the richest parties. How did they earn such huge money within 10 years? It is not through hard work but by appropriating the funds meant for farmers, women, and youth,” she claimed.
“Whenever BJP requires support in the Parliament, BRS readily comes forward, with support from the AIMIM. It’s a coalition of BRS, BJP, and AIMIM on one side, while the people of Telangana, along with Congress, stand on the other,” she added.
She alleged that the president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Asaduddin Owaisi tends to refrain from criticising Modi, targeting Rahul Gandhi instead, who led the Bharat Jodo Yatra against the prevailing hatred in the country. “These elections are not for the leaders who make fake promises every election but for the future of the people of Telangana. Your vote should be for the sacrifices made by martyrs for the cause of Telangana,” she said.
