A high drama unfolded at his home in Jubliee Hills when police officials asked him not to venture out. Two sub-inspectors and constables have been deployed outside his house.
"What is the reason for this house arrest? Police are running the administration in Telangana. There is no rule of law in Telangana. No complaint copy, no section 41 Cr PC, and no clarity on why I should not go out of my home," said Mallu Ravi.
He said on Tuesday evening, cyber crime police came to their social media office. "For three hours, we asked them what is the complaint against them. There was no answer. They told us that they will produce the documents only in court. Why? They have detained three people all night and there is no answer," he said
Senior leaders of Congress were planning to take up the issue today with the Hyderabad police commissioner CV Anand. They were also going to register a complaint at the office of the chief minister KCR.
But this house arrest has led to further escalation. Leaders said opposition parties are being denied the right to protest and ask questions.
Raids before Delhi office inauguration

The raids were based on a tip off that five different persons were engaged in operating certain social media pages, with an intent to defame or post denigrating information on Chief Minister K ChandraShekar Rao and TRS party.
The cyber crime cops had earlier registered individual cases on derogatory posts, following complaints. All of these were made by the office of Sunil Kanugolu.
