By Newsmeter Network Published on 1 May 2023 9:50 PM ISTHyderabad: TPCC president Revanth Reddy alleged that the government prevented him from going to the Secretariat with the police because the corruption in the outer ring road tenders would be exposed.
He criticized chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Information and Industries Minister KTR for giving away the outer ring road worth lakhs of crores at cheaper rates.
KCR said that the administration will be carried out from the Secretariat and gave a lecture about Ambedkar's theories, but has forgotten this promise within 24 hours.
The MLAs and MPs were never prevented from coming to the Secretariat in the last 20 years, but he, who was a member of Parliament and prevented from going inside.
He said, "I was going inside to submit an application to authorities under Right to Information. The police didn't listen. Why is special permission required for Member of Parliament?"
š„What objection does the @TelanganaCMO have if I go to the secretariat as an MP?!Stopping by the @TelanganaCOPs is undemocratic. š„ I said that I will go alone and meet the authorities..still was not allowed. š„The government is afraid that the corruption on Outer Ringā¦ pic.twitter.com/ASidlcPTuq

Half an hour of argument
The police and MP had an argument for half an hour.
The police advised him to submit an application for permission to central zone deputy police commissioner's office.
Reddy said, "HMDA office has not yet been shifted and I was brought here. But when I came here and applied, the acknowledgement was not even rubber-stamped saying it was shifted to the Secretariat. Arvind Kumar is not here, not there. Where is he? Is he in KCRās farmhouse?"
Outer Ring Road is a prestige symbol of Hyderabad metropolis. Congress government spent Rs 6696 crores. He said that the government has brought the toll system to recover the money spent, which is why the Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited was formed and steps have been taken to collect the toll. āEvery year the government gets a toll revenue of Rs 750 crore. The ORR with such income has been given away to IRB, a Mumbai company by the BRS government for Rs.7388 crores. If it gets 750 crores per year, it was given away to the Mumbai company for 246 crores."
The BRS government sold the ORR for 30 years, he alleged.
