This comes after unemployed youth demanded the rescheduling of the test. The DSC exams would be conducted from July 18 to August 5, as previously announced, he added.
Speaking to the media here, Bhatti Vikramarka said the Congress government rescheduled and announced a notification for 11,000 posts shortly after assuming the office. Around 2.79 lakh candidates had applied for the DSC. Of which 2.05 lakh of them have already downloaded their hall tickets, he said.
The deputy chief minister said that the state government had also set up a grievance cell that would be accessible round the clock to handle any issues.
"We want the unemployed youth to prepare well for the exam and succeed in educating the underprivileged students in government schools. In addition to the 11,000 positions that have already been announced, an additional 5,000 to 6,000 are being notified following a comprehensive review,ā he said.
Bhatti Vikramarka said the government is contemplating releasing another notification to fill up another 5,000 vacancies and more.
